Overview

Sonoma County’s favorite independently owned grocery store, Oliver’s Market, has been supplying the local community with organic and high-quality local food and products since 1988. Olivers Market is committed to providing customers with choice, local options, fair prices and great quality and service.

Having been providing Oliver’s Market with IT support for over 12 years and we were excited to finally have the opportunity to create a website that would better reflect their unique and truly¬†Sonoma County brand that we have loved for so long.

We partnered closely with the Oliver’s Market team to custom design and develop a brand new website in WordPress. Oliver’s has been developing their branding since its inception, thus it was critical for us to work collaboratively to express their aesthetic in the online space and across all devices.

Oliver’s Market needed a completely custom WordPress setup to allow for all of their different content outlets, advertising mediums, and a brand new online ordering system. Every aspect of the build was completely customized to fit the needs of their staff. Their large team needed to be able to facilitate the creation of new recipes, staff picks, news, events, blog posts, weekly ads, department ads, business partners, and so much more.

Finally, Oliver’s wanted to step into the future of online shopping. For years they managed their Holiday Orders with phone calls and pen and paper and wanted to bring it into the modern era. Their extremely popular and tasty holiday meals needed a fully manageable product system that used WooCommerce at the core, but was heavily customized to create the exact ordering experience that Oliver’s Market wanted for their customers. They also needed a completely custom management system for their orders so that each store could quickly and easily manage their inventory per location and per customer.

Here at West County Net, we couldn’t have been happier to work with our favorite local grocer and continue to design and develop their online systems.
