We are seeking a talented Front-End WordPress Developer with a strong sense of aesthetics and coding expertise to join our innovative team at West County Net. Our mission is to push the boundaries of WordPress by developing progressive websites across various industries.
The Role
- Design and implement responsive WordPress websites. (We are not an Elementor Agency)
- Layout content designs in Gutenberg and Full Site Editor.
- Maintain and improve the codebase for a wide range of clients and projects.
- Maintaining WordPress sites plugins and completing client requests.
- Develop custom Gutenberg blocks.
- Create custom plugins to streamline future projects.
- Collaborate with the content team to structure and program content architecture.
Desired Skills
- 2+ Years of experience building and maintaining WordPress websites
- Expert in HTML/CSS
- Expert understanding WordPress theme and plugin development.
- WordPress JavaScript development, particularly Block and Gutenberg experience.
- Experience with Advanced Custom Fields and Gravity Forms.
- Ability to structure page layouts with an understanding of frontend UX standards.
- Ability to derive layouts with and without provided designs.
- Proficient in managing Webpack builds and Git workflows.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with an affinity for problem-solving.
Bonus Points
- Experience with Local by Flywheel and WP Engine.
- WordPress Full Site Editor experience.
- Hosting & DNS experience.
- MERN stack experience
